3 Indian companies welcomed during joint visit in New Delhi
PRESS RELEASE The Hague, the Netherlands, 15 October 2015 – Under the leadership of Vice-Mayor Karsten Klein, a delegation from The Hague, the City of Peace, Justice and Security, presents the Dutch approach to cyber security in India. The aim of the mission is closer co-operation and exchange of knowledge between The Hague and Indian government organizations, industry and research institutions. As part of the program, InnovationQuarter and the City of The Hague officially welcome HGS Products, SkillCube and Evalueserve – three Indian companies that recently opened a new office in The Hague – during a network event in New Delhi, India.
Cyber security collaboration
The Dutch delegation who is visiting India from 13 until 17 October under the leadership of The Hague’s Vice-Mayor Karsten Klein, is a broad representation of The Hague Security Delta (HSD), the largest security cluster in Europe. In this Dutch cluster businesses, governments and knowledge institutions work together on innovation and knowledge in the field of safety and security.
India is an interesting partner for Dutch safety & security companies, knowledge institutions and public organizations. InnovationQuarter is pleased that recently three Indian companies HGS Products, SkillCube and Evalueserve chose The Hague as their base for further growth in the Netherlands and Europe.
Geophones by HGS Products
HGS Products manufactures sensor products such as geophones, cables and connectors and has two production facilities in India. Main markets for HGS Products in Europe are the Netherlands, Germany and Switzerland. They used to market their products in Europe via a joint venture partner and this year HGS Products decided to set up their own subsidiary in the Netherlands. This subsidiary, HGS Products BV, will be the Marketing & Sales office in Europe. The next step is setting up R&D facilities in cooperation with amongst others the TU Delft, TNO and companies in the region to develop a new generation geophone.
InnovationQuarter assisted HGS Products, in cooperation with the Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency (NFIA), the WestHolland Foreign Investment Agency (WFIA) and the City of The Hague, in setting up their new subsidiary in The Hague. The company is now fully operational and has three staff members.

SkillCube’s new headquarters in Europe
SkillCube is one of the fastest growing Indian startups and provides 360 degrees cyber security solutions with a focus on capacity building at all levels. In India, SkillCube works with students, academia and industry offering cyber security solutions to bridge the talent gap and have ambitious growth plans in the Netherlands.
Recently they have set up a legal entity in the Netherlands and an office in the World Trade Center in The Hague within one week, which is extremely fast for an international company. “This is the way we do business in India”, Managing Director Saurabh Agarwal said.
In its search for a suitable location for their European Headquarters, SkillCube was well supported by InnovationQuarter in co-operation with HSD, NFIA and the City of The Hague. Currently two staff members are working at the new office. In the next years the SkillCube team will expand beyond six employees.
Global services provider Evalueserve
Evalueserve is a global professional services provider offering research, analytics, and data management services. They are powered by mind+machine – a unique combination of human expertise and best-in-class technologies that use smart algorithms to simplify key tasks. This approach enables them to design and manage processes that can generate and harness insights on a large scale, significantly cutting costs and timescales, and helping businesses that partner with them to overtake the competition.
In May this year, Evalueserve acquired Dutch company Treparel, a leading provider of text analytics and visualization solutions located at the HSD Campus, the national innovation center for security in The Hague. Evalueserve will continue to be a part of HSD. The company will expand its operations and benefit from the advantages of the largest security cluster in Europe with easy access to market, resources, network, initiatives and events.
Together with NFIA, HSD and the City of The Hague, InnovationQuarter will do its utmost to provide further support to Evalueserve’s Dutch operations.
